Meet the Teams

The following teams work collaboratively to triage and respond to all reports submitted. The teams are comprised of:  

Special Situations Team (SST)

A university team charged with threat assessment, enhancing communication, and initiating appropriate responses to specific behavior problems impacting the safety and security of the university community.

Student Behavioral Issues Committee (SBIC)

A university committee providing high-level care for students in crisis, creating strategies to support student well-being and success, involving academic advisors, case managers, and other campus stakeholders.

Case Management

A collaborative process between a staff member and a student to achieve goals by identifying concerns, assessing obstacles, setting goals, and monitoring needs and services.
